Fleet management software

Your whole fleet,
audit-ready.

Drills, deficiencies, crew certificates, voyages and dry docking for every vessel, kept the way an auditor expects to see them. Built for the ISM Code and Transport Canada's MSMSR.

01 · Safety management

Every drill, audit and deficiency, on record.

Run the safety management system for the fleet from one place. Schedule and log drills, record inspections and internal audits, and follow each deficiency from report to closed corrective action.

  • Drill schedules per vessel, with what is due and what is late
  • Inspections and internal audits with findings attached
  • Deficiencies with owner, due date and corrective action

02 · Crew and training

Know who is qualified before they sail.

Each crew member's certificates and training sit on their record, with expiry dates tracked across the fleet. The office sees what lapses next, not after the fact.

  • Certificates and training per person, with expiry dates
  • A fleet-wide view of what expires next
  • Training records ready to show an inspector

03 · Voyages

Voyage records and plans, vessel by vessel.

Keep voyage records and voyage plans with the vessel they belong to, so the office and the inspector see the same history the crew logged.

  • Voyage records and plans attached to each vessel
  • Searchable history across the fleet
  • Plans available to inspectors through Remote Inspections

04 · Dry docking

Specify once. Compare yards side by side.

Write and approve the dry-dock specification in Oceanaut and invite shipyards to bid on Oceanaut Dry Dock. Quotations come back job by job, so you compare like with like, then run the awarded project with the yard.

  • One specification, sent to the yards you invite
  • Quotations compared job by job, lowest highlighted
  • Contract signed online, project shared with the yard

05 · Remote inspections

One link for the auditor.

Invite a surveyor to a vessel's records by email. They verify with a one-time code, see eight read-only sections, and lose access on the date you set. No attachments, and no account for them to create.

Across every area

Built in, not bolted on

Works offline

The mobile app keeps a local copy of the crew's data, and the web app has an offline mode. Records sync when the connection is back.

Your own forms

Build forms with 14 field types, conditional sections and calculations, or import them from Excel.

Signatures in order

Records can need several signatures in a set order, with reminders, merged into the PDF.

Dashboards and a full log

Compliance, voyage map and personnel dashboards, and an activity log of every change.

Questions operators ask.

What is Oceanaut?

Oceanaut is fleet management software for shipowners and vessel operators. It keeps safety management records, crew certificates and training, voyages, dry-docking projects and remote inspections for the whole fleet in one place.

Is Oceanaut only for Canada's MSMSR?

No. Oceanaut is built around the safety management system the ISM Code describes, which is the same structure Transport Canada's Marine Safety Management System Regulations (SOR/2024-133) follow. Operators use it to run their fleet whether or not MSMSR applies to them.

Which modules are available today?

Five areas are live: safety management, crew and training, voyages, dry docking and remote inspections. Planned maintenance and inventory are in development.

Does Oceanaut work without internet on board?

Yes. The mobile app keeps a local copy of the crew's data and supports offline drafts and offline voyages, and the web app has an offline mode that syncs records when a connection is back.

How does a shipyard receive my dry-dock specification?

Through Oceanaut Dry Dock, the shipyard portal. Yards you invite see your bid when it opens, submit itemised quotations, and manage the awarded work with you.
